Editing No car, no problem

I am 23 years of age and have gotten this far in a suburban area without a license. The reasons for this is by both choice and circumstance, but even disregarding the reasons I'm forced in this situation, I vehemently do despise vehicles like cars and SUVs, instead opting for public or personal transportation, such as [[Personal Electronic Transportation|bikes electric scooters.]]

The elephant in the room is the fact that I have been seeking medical guidance for a seizure disorder ever since 2021. In general, I have experienced seizures that involve complete or partial loss of motor control, but all myoclonic in nature. For the past year, have been experiencing a significant number of focal-onset, tonic-clonic seizures, causing me to completely begin seizing uncontrollably on the ground. <blockquote>Both have posed issues even during scooter rides; the myoclonic twitches were enough for me to crash while riding my scooter during 2022, being unable to remove my thumb from the throttle and crashing into a ditch at one point. 

More recently, I was lucky enough to experience the onset of a full tonic-clonic fit while going 25mph on my scooter, down a sideroad at midnight. I had an "aura", and was able to pull over to the side of the road to act the seizure out before returning home safely.</blockquote>However...

I don't understand what a car even ''has'' to offer me.

They are multi-thousand dollar liabilities that do nothing other than get you from point A to point B. That is to say, the entire function of a car can be sufficiently replicated with the legs you were born with. The appeal to them otherwise is to get to places faster than walking, and the luxury or not having to walk. 

I prefer walking in order to serve as a form of structure to keep me walking and outside for longer periods of time.

Let's take an overview of these points.

* I have medical issues that prevent me from getting, or upkeeping, a license.
* It is significantly cheaper not to have a car.
* It is, legally, significantly safer to be a biker or pedestrian.
* I cannot reasonably anticipate the actions of others on the road, nor do I trust them to take the logical choices. I also believe they will misjudge my actions, leading to issues.
